The bay area duo SKULS returns to Terrorhythm Recordings with a 4-track EP entitled “Terminal.”
The EP is a concept record in which each songs represents a different leg of SKULS year long journey moving from their hometown to LA. The entire work acts as a cinematic score that is heavy-hittng, bass-driven, and derives influence from upper echelon hip-hop & electronic music.
The duo said they titled the EP ‘Terminal’ because…
“It represents the end of our old life and the beginning a new one - a transfer from one place to another (hence the art). The opening track ‘1501’ acts as the dying moments of our old life, ‘Power’ is the raw energy of taking off for an unknown future, ‘Lotusville’ is the struggle & pain experienced in a foreign city and ‘Movements’ is us accepting that our lives will never be the same as they were - it was the moment we finally moved forward... the end of a terminal.”
